The inaugural ALS Ride for Hope took place in 2023 as Doug's fraternity brother, Dave Foster came up with the idea of creating an endurance bike ride from Oxford, Ohio where Doug and Dave were roommates at the Alpha Delta Phi house at Miami University to Boxford, MA, Doug's home town.  This 1000 mile bike ride over the course of 15 days was an absolutely amazing experience of hope, friendship, resiliency and grit.  With the help of so many, including the Alpha Delt fraternity brothers, our small group was able to raise over $132.000 to fight ALS.  In an effort to keep the momentum going and hope alive, The ALS Ride for Hope 2 has been created!
